After a title-winning campaign in 2016, AFC Cleveland is happy to provide Royals fans with stadium and ticket news for the 2017 season.
For the first time in club history, AFC Cleveland will play its home matches at the same venue as the previous season – Stan Skoczen Stadium at Independence High School.
Season tickets for the 2017 season are on sale starting November 28th. Season tickets include ALL home NPSL Regular Season matches, all Friendly matches, and all potential tournament matches (such as the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup and the Hank Steinbrecher Cup). Season tickets do not include potential NPSL Playoff matches.
Season tickets cost $40, and a $55 Deluxe Package option is also available (includes the 2017 Scarf at 25% off the regular price).
“Winning the championship last season gives us a lot of new opportunities,” says AFC Cleveland President/CEO Terry Lawriw, “we’ve submitted a very attractive bid to host the Hank Steinbrecher Cup (a 4-team tournament between the NPSL champion, USL PDL champion, and USASA Regular Season & Cup winners), and our chances of hosting an early round U.S. Open Cup match are higher now.”
Single match tickets for next season will go on sale in 2017, and the club will feature the expanded pre-match online ticket sales that were used during the 2016 National Championship game.
Single pre-match online tickets will cost $6 per match. Tickets purchased on matchday in-person at the stadium box office will be $8.
“We researched ticket prices around the league, and also looked internally at our progression over the last 5 years,” said Lawriw, “we’re happy to be able to keep prices the same for fans using pre-match online sales, and a family of 4 can still experience a match with concessions for well under $50.”
