AFC Cleveland Announces Roster Updates

AFC Cleveland today announced the return of midfielder Adam Ferguson and the signing of 14 new players for the 2016 NPSL season.  These additions round out the roster as the team finishes preparations for its first match of the year. Below is the list of the signings:

Chris Cvecko, Midfielder, Case Western, from Erie, PA
Aleksandar Drobac, Goalkeeper, Cleveland State Vikings, from Ruma, Serbia
Sky Harter, Midfielder, Akron Zips, from Copley. OH
David Jordan, Defender, Akron Zips, from Mentor, OH
Ryan Lund, Defender, Mercy Hurst, from South Euclid, OH
James Milli, Defender, Cleveland State Vikings, from North Royalton, OH
Jeremy Pollard, Goalkeeper, Akron Zips, from Westmead, Australia
Tyler Sanda, Midfielder, Akron Zips, from North Royalton, OH
Cory Shimensky, Defender, Marshall University, from Kent, OH

The new players come from some of the top college soccer programs around the area including the Akron Zips and the Cleveland State Vikings, but there are also some players who ply their trade out of state. With the addition of these players, AFC Cleveland’s active roster now stands at 28.
