AFC Cleveland and NovaCare Rehabilitation announced today that NovaCare Rehabilitation will be the new jersey sponsor of Cleveland’s National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) club. Through this agreement, the NovaCare logo will be featured on the front of all AFC Cleveland jerseys, which are set to be revealed later this month.
“I am extremely excited to announce that NovaCare Rehabilitation will be our title sponsor for the 2016 season” said AFC Cleveland President & CEO Terry Lawriw. “We have worked with NovaCare for the past five years and couldn’t be happier.”
NovaCare, who has been AFC Cleveland’s partner since its inaugural season, will continue to work with the club in other community projects and will have its logo displayed on the Royals’ website as well as on other promotional material as part of the agreement. NovaCare Rehabilitation staff members will also be present at all of AFC Cleveland’s home matches.
“We’re really excited. We’ve had a great couple of years already with the group and with the team. It’s a great organization and this is just a way to get you there in the community more, help the program, and continue our partnership,” said NovaCare Sports Medicine Coordinator Jeff Lambert-Shemo.
AFC Cleveland will be playing its fifth season in the NPSL in 2016. Having reached the Midwest Conference Finals last season, Lambert-Shemo believes the team can do even better this season.
“Last year it [AFC Cleveland] had a great season and it just shows that the team is going to continue to grow and be strong. The sky’s the limit to the success that this team can have.”
AFC Cleveland will open its NPSL season at home on May 14 against Indy Eleven NPSL.
