AFC Cleveland Signs Andre Learned for 2013 Season

AFC Cleveland would like to announce the signing of Andre Learned to the Royals 2013 roster. Originally from Berea, Ohio, Learned spent time with Cleveland United and CASA before moving to Kansas. An invite to the Kansas City Wizards Youth Academy (Now Sporting Kansas City), Learned continued to add to his yearly collection of accolades as he would eventually head to Fort Hays State University. More recently, he was a central ingredient in a championship run for the Kansas City Velocity. Andre brings exceptional flexibility to the Royals roster. Having played on the back line most of his career, he brings the potential to add a new dynamic to the AFC midfield.

Andy Hoggarth, Head Coach, “I was impressed with his pace and how clean his technique was. Andre was constantly looking to make things happen and will be an asset to our program.

Aaron McGuiness, Assistant Coach, “Andre showed tremendous pace and technical ability in the try-outs. I look forward to seeing the impact he will have on our team. He is definitely someone to look out for on our flanks.
