AFC Cleveland announces the signing of Andy Harding, from Hiram College. Out of Bath, Ohio, the forward had a break-out season with the Terriers in 2013, leading the entire conference (NCAC) in goals (13) and points (32), while ranking third in the NCAC in shots, shots on goal, and game-winning goals (4). Additionally, he was named to the All-Region team along with 2 other new Royals; Ryan Minick and Dan O’Callaghan. Supporters of the Terriers saw Harding’s entry into the conference elite during a September match versus Franciscan where he would score 5 goals on his opponent. Andy will bring additional speed, creativity, and finishing ability to a re-vamped Royals attack. He has been a major component to the scoring success at Hiram College, having started all but 4 games in his three years with the Terriers.
Andy Hoggarth, Head Coach, “Andy’s a deceptive forward who can both create goals and is also a very accurate finisher. I also think that he will bring a great work ethic and attitude to the team.
Marquis Walker, Assistant Coach, “Andy’s a speedy player that is a constant threat to get behind the defenders. He has the skill and composure to finish his chances.
