AFC Cleveland Re-Signs David Murrow for 2013 Season

AFC Cleveland’s lightning bolt, David Murrow, becomes the 2nd off-season signing for the Royals through the 2013 NPSL season. Murrow, from the University of Cincinnati and locally, Strongsville High School, helped ignite the AFC Cleveland offense last season from the wing with his speed and determination. Murrow joined the Royals mid-season and was a crucial component of the club through the end of the season. Murrow is a team leader and the staff and fans of AFC Cleveland are fortunate to have him back for the 2013 season.

David Schmac, Director of Player Personnel, “We were immediately impressed from the first session David joined us. He never stops. He’ll beat you down the field, plays tough for his size, But most importantly within his first week on the roster, he became a locker room presence and helped bring the team together. He’s an asset to this team and we’re very fortunate to have him back.

Aaron McGuiness, Assistant Coach, “David is an exciting player to watch. He came to us late last summer and instantly had a positive impact on our attacking movement. He has had more playing time under his belt this past college season and we expect to see him light up our flanks this summer.
